The chaotic-good-aligned god Deep Sashelas, a.k.a. the Dolphin Prince, is the patron of marine elves and the chairman of the Asathalfinare, the united pantheon of sea gods. He is revered as the god of mariners and has a long history of dalliances. He has been involved with several other gods, including the giant goddess Trishina and his wife, Trishina. While his main role is to protect his creations, Sashelas also has many enemies and is continually reshaping the ocean depths. He favors the trident.
The temple of the Lord of the Undersea is built of coral and natural stone. There are spiraling columns leading to a maze of caves and sea shell archways. A main chamber is filled with water and lit by magical floating globes. Shell mosaics cover the walls and floors, and there is a fountain at the center of the main chamber.
Worshippers of the Lord of the Undersea honor him through the creation of wonders and works of art. After completing a project, clergy of the Deep Sashelas offer a prayer. There are also rituals and ceremonies that commemorate the high and low tides.

Despite the fact that their priests have access to complex demihuman scale mail, most Sashelan priests still use traditional sea elf weapons in battle. They have a limited understanding of other weapons, such as bows and arrows.
Despite their differences, the Sea Elves share a similar moral stance. Rather, they view them as friends. So, they are more tolerant of humans.
Leader of the asathalfinare
The de facto leader of the asathalfinare is the aquatic elf Lord of the Undersea, Deep Sashelas. Aquatic elves worship him and other members of the Seldarine race. Some sailors offer sacrifices to him, while clerics of the aquatic elven church use these offerings for their own gain.
